The Dump Command
dump

The dump command uploads S-records to the host port.

Format

The format for the dump command is:

dump adr siz

where:

adr
is the base address of the data to be uploaded.
siz
 the number of bytes to be uploaded.

Functional Description

The dump command uploads Motorola S-records to
the host port. All uploaded S-records except the terminating S-record
are S3-records. The terminating S-record is an S7-record. 

The uleof and ulcr Variables

After the dump is completed, the string specified in uleof will be transmit-
ted. The default value for uleof is "%". 

If the variable ulcr is set to "off", the lines will be terminated 
by a carriage return ("\r") and a linefeed character ("\n"). 

If ulcr is set to "on", each line will be terminated by a linefeed character 
("\n") only. 

The default value for ulcr is "off".

The following example of the dump command dumps 256 bytes starting at 
0x9FC00000.
